This was a lovely house and nicely decorated but i think one of the best things about this property was the location. 20 mins drive from Beamish and 10 min walk to the centre.

We had a lovely stay, the house was well set up and in a great location for Durham centre. We loved that it was an easy walk to the town centre and river. The host, Irena, was very responsive and we had a delicious brunch at a recommended cafe.

Fabulous location as walkable to the city centre, cathedral et al. Sooo quiet at night. Tastefully furnished and super responsive host. Parking off street. Our second stay and look forward to returning.

The property was very central to the university . Just a short walk to get to Hatfield college and the very nice Italian restaurant we booked. The house was very clean and nicely presented, with a nice garden
